  • I live up north in the USA. (No, not Alaska. But it does get sufficiently cold here. LOL) I'm still living with my birth family for the main reason that I cannot stand to try and live through the silence of being alone in a house or apartment. I graduated from home education when I was 19. Now I am half heartedly making As in college. LOL

Yes, it is getting late and I must head to bed myself.

Would love to hear more about you and your story. :)

    Talk to you soon.
Oooh cool! Horses and mules? My best friend's sister in TX breaks horses for a living. She's quite good at it and tried to teach me. Though I sincerely confess that I have NOT aptitude for dealing with mamals larger than men. LOL

Like you, I also was raised to be mono. Interestingly enough though I could easily be mono if I found the right partner, I have always had trouble committing to just one person. Not that I was ever a cheating sort. I just hate to feel 'owned' by someone.

For me, I'm am exploring polyamory becuase I think it may be the only viable option for me to find a real family. I have always 'chosen' my family. I don't permit blood lines to dictate who is and is not worthy of my familial devotion and protection.

Also, I have a very 'masculin' veiw of my role in a relationship. I am the pursuer, the protector, the provider.
Aren't we all dreading the return to work after a few short days of stuffing ourselves to the brim with triptophan?? (I'm assuming you're in the USA?)

Well I am not around your age (I'm 21) But I am a like mind it seems, and in the same catagory as you; single and new to poly. This site is very informative.

What got you interested in poly if I may inquire without being rude? :)
Hello there. :) Just noticed you are 'online' and I am trying to meet people to learn and make friends, etc. How are you today?
