It's agreed that engaging in a romantic and/or sexual relationship without the knowledge and consent of your partner is cheating.
What if there's knowledge but no consent? Say your partner becomes interested in someone and you make it clear that you are actively against the relationship existing. But your partner pursues regardless.
Your partner and the other go on to behave like significant others, reserving romantic feelings for one another, not considering other potential partners with the desire to focus on one another, wanting the courtesy of meeting a potential new partner before anything takes place, expressing possession of one another, cutesy texts, saying they love each other, sleeping over now and then, cuddling, holding hands, kissing, and pretty much acting, doing, and feeling everything an established couple would but just not giving a "boyfriend/girlfriend" title to it.
All of this taking place despite your repeated expressions of being against it and why you feel the way you do about it. Vetoing is not an option.
Is this scenario still cheating even if it's being done openly and upfront? How would you handle this situation?
