Los Bros Hernandez

Well, it has some poly-themed storylines and features characters in "alternative" lifestyles, so I thought there might be some other fans of it here besides me.

I highly recommend picking up the original series which has been released and re-released in "graphic novel" format.

The "new" series and spin-offs are not quite as impressive to me - with the exception of "Birdland", an adult/pornographic mini-series released under EROS Graphic Albums (ISBN: 1-56097-200-9).

Are you familiar with the band's music? Do you like it?

(I'm not familiar, but have spent a lot of time in what used to be called "record stores" -- remember those?)

My musical taste is pretty freaking broad. I exclude mostly only opera and country-western, generally.

I had no idea. Yesterday, I listened to a couple of their hit songs online. I found them lyrically juvenile and musically only just above insipid. I guess they're pretty much a teen fanbase sorta gig.
