Lastly, please read each of the following statements and rate the extent to which it describes your feelings about romantic relationships. Please think about all your relationships (past and present) and respond in terms of how you generally feel in these relationships. If you have never been involved in a romantic relationship, answer in terms of how you think you would feel.
Please use the scale below by placing a number between 1 and 5 in the space provided to the right of each statement.

You will get better responses if you include a link to the survey in the post. Also, how will people get their surveys to you?

Hi Carolyn,

It seems that there needs to be a way for anyone taking the survey to have their privacy protected. If I posted my answers in this thread, my personal info would be out there for all the world to see. This not only compromises my privacy, it also gives everyone more information than they probably want to hear.

Usually when someone has a survey for us, it is powered by a link to a series of web pages where we can answer the questions. Can you do something like that here?

Regards,
Kevin T.

Also, you'd better specify "open relationship". Is "open" synonymous to "non-monogamous" in your book? Does dating around qualify? How about a close polyamorous triad? (i.e. my partner is polyamorous, but I don't identify as being in an open relationship)
I'm not sure you'll get good research results with such a loosely defined group.

Um... well, hi back, I guess. :)

A few thoughts, though, & these probably ought to go into a FAQ for researchers who show up here.
  1. Not a big thing, but these requests are generally more suited to the Press and Media Coverage section.
  2. From abject curiosity (;)) do you have an M.Sci., or are you a potential candidate for one? (If the latter, how potentially?)
  3. To what purpose do you intend to put the data you collect? It seems somewhat superficial, so I'm wondering if this is just filling an informational gap in a class paper, or maybe a preliminary basis for creating a proper poll that will form the basis for research.
  4. How may individuals here contact a representative of your research oversight committee (or whatever CSU calls it) to ensure that data gathered is put to responsible use?
