I guested on a big podcast & some of the chat was on polyamory

Last year the hosts of the Professor Blastoff podcast put out a call for topic and guest suggestions. Alan was listening and he realized that the show had never done anything on missing limbs, etc.—so maybe they’d like Anna as a guest. So we wrote up an email: about Anna’s body and her use of artificial legs and about our polyamory—the latter as a possible secondary topic. (We’d heard the podcast’s episode on polyamory and thought more forms of poly should be represented.) We exchanged some lovely emails with one of the hosts and he extended an invitation to appear on the show.

So back in July we went up to Hollywood for the recording and it went fantastically. The hosts—Tig Notaro, Kyle Dunnigan, David Huntsberger—were magnanimous, honestly curious, thoughtful, and damn fun. You’ll find links to it below.

Anna joins in the conversation at the 24:30 mark, talking about the topic (quadrilateral limb deficiency), and the conversation turns to our polyamory at the 57:30 mark. (For those of you who don’t know, Professor Blastoff is a jaunty comedy podcast where they talk about a different topic each week.)

Cheers!

Again, cheers!
