I was reading some comments you made on a post today about communication between two women, and I wanted to tell you how helpful I found what you wrote, though it wasn't a thread I was involved in. My gf and I seem to have some similarities to you and your gf, but reversed. She's the first woman I've ever been with, but she's been out as lesbian for over 22 years. I do find myself struggling with communication issues, and how different it all is from being with a guy. I was wondering if I had some specific questions if it would be all right with you if I asked you directly? You seem to really have it together.

Thank you for your help. The advice you gave really helped me look at things from a different angle. I feel much better about the situation, and I have been able to communicate much more clearly.
