Polyamory as a modality for spiritual growth

Acknowledge that He is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, that you are a sinner, and that you want Him to come into your heart. When you are sincere, He begins to fill you with true righteousness.

Polyamory as a modality for spiritual growth

Sin is without God. Rejecting Jesus is without God. Denying God's word is living without God. Not loving God is without God. Not respecting the commandments is without God. Living for yourself and your idols is without God. Accepting Jesus is living with God. Admitting you are a sinner...

That is considerate and kind of you. :) I was an atheist too, for over 20 years. I am still suffering the repercussions of it today, even though I came back to the Lord many years ago. The fact that you rejected the mormon church shows good judgment on your part, though I'm sure some of...

Polyamory as a modality for spiritual growth

Would you prefer this, Lucifer? "Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." ~James 1:15 Tis true. Anything without God is destined to fail.

    Let's Talk About Sex...

The gist I got is that this is a pervasive and ongoing problem, and that despite numerous attempts to rectify it, it continues to be a problem. It is in that context that I advised what I did. Laying a thorn in the flesh aside is sometimes the best way of dealing with it. Often it has a...

    Polyamory Books, Magazines, Websites

I enjoyed Three in Love. Not so much the Ethical Slut. I also liked The Alchemy of Love. Three in Love is a righteous tome full of references. I got rid of all my poly books after my D, but I'd like to write a less weighty, and more Godly, version of Three in Love. If I ever get married. :(

The Bible & Sex & Relationships

If you want me to find it interesting, then you will have to get past semantics and discuss concepts. Since that is not really your style, and no matter how long I go away and then come back, you never change, I don't see much point in going any further. But you have the rest of the forum. :)

    Let's Talk About Sex...

Oh, my point was that sex shouldn't be the frame of reference in any way whatsoever. Sex is a quality of a loving relationship. Love is not necessarily a quality of a sexual relationship. Love is what is important, not sex. At least it shouldn't be, if you are the called.

You only listen to your father, the prince of lies. You have no ears to hear the truth. You are the same now as you always were. Nothing has changed. *shakes dust off and moves on*

The Bible & Sex & Relationships

Of course not, because those are all literature in the same subject and class. The Bible stands alone, and should only be interpreted with reputable sources that have stood the test of time, and only then under the most astute scrutiny. You may have had quotes but unless you use an unbiased...

Polyamory as a modality for spiritual growth

I try to be in line with the Bible in all I do, say, and write. I am not sure what your issues are, but bring real questions to the table if you choose to engage me and not all this senseless drivel, please. It really bores me!

It is understood that 'scripture' are the ancient texts that speak about the One God. And especially the canonized books which are contained in the Bible. Since the book of mormon is neither ancient nor canonized, it is not considered scripture. You are not confused, you are trying to...

    Let's Talk About Sex...

He was the first called man, the first man who was chosen to know and worship God. The first real man who was the final intention of God. And the scripture is written like this, more as the present tense than as Adam himself: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined...

The Bible is God's Word "And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction...

    Let's Talk About Sex...

Oh, I understand. I just do not agree. Though I might have in my pagan past. :) First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes J in a baby carriage. :p Seriously, the scriptures state that Adam saw his wife and knew she was the one, he left his father and mother, and joined his...

The Bible & Sex & Relationships

Why are you beginning your thread by quoting something other than the Bible itself? If you want to make serious inquiry about the Bible, then I encourage you to quote It, not extraneous sources. Otherwise, to be more accurate, why pose a mock question? Just start a thread that states, "The...

I don't find that to be true at all. And I do not waste my time on reading unforbidden literature, which can lead your mind astray. I am quite busy just reading and understanding the 66 books God gives us! Otherwise, God reveals the truth to us in His own mysterious way, highlighting...

I think it's cool to be able to talk about this lifestyle also. It resonates with me as a concept and always has. I hear you when you say you wish you had found it sooner, but I doubt it would have made much difference, in all. In my journey through life, it seems most do not have what it...
