    Partner snoring/ apnea

A bit of an outlier. But my nesting partner had suspected sleep arena (maybe does as he does seem to stop breathing for more than a normal amount of time). But recently had a new chiropractor and I have no idea what they did but hardly any snoring after years of sleepless or poor sleep for both...

    International move

I don't know about NZ but canada has an immigration scheme that includes trades. You can search online for it. I think from talking to someone a few years ago some provinces are easier than others.

I'm sorry to say but as a poc in the UK I thought Kamala was not the right choice for a number of reasons. It felt very similar to RBG choice not to stand down when a dem good candidate could have taken her place in the SC. People should choose country over their own ambitions. I'm sorry its so...

Labi Siffre and his wonderful husbands

I read an interview of the amazing singer/poet Labi Siffre..https://www.bigissue.com/culture/music/labi-siffre-music-life-career-gay-black-husbands/. (The link is safe, it's to the online version of a magazine that homeless people sell in the UK). He speaks of the privilege he had to love his...

My partner has ruined all my past relationships

We share pass codes to phones...mainly as above sometimes it's needed when we are just doing 'stuff' driving, playing music etc. I think also if anything happened to me then it can be accessed for contacts. I still can not remember my nesting partners pass code. Even tho I have been told it a...

Dad has essentially disowned my family

I have to ask this: if you had a partner currently, in addition to your wife having one, do you think he would take this stance with you? If not, then the issue with your dad may be about more than just poly. There are a lot of people in the world whose true beliefs about women and LGBTQ+ only...

Fun and Frolic With Long-Term Love

Menopause is a b####. My NP LOVES my recently aquired menopause big tits and belly...me nope. I guess as women we have been told that our bodies are never good enough. Have children..then we have 'ruined' bodies. Don't have them then we are 'selfish'. Gain weight, lose weight...tits aren't...

Great news they are benign but you must be exhausted from the stress. I had a salivary gland tumour (benign but big) removed years ago. So have a scar on my neck. I just wanted to say that tbh it has never bothered me and it healed much better than other scars on my body xx

I'm so sorry that it ended that way. However the fact that you took yourself out of that situation and have insight to what you want and need shows to me that you are literally amazing. I hope that your healing helps you move even further in your journey. Hugs xx

    The journey to myself

For some people it is and they revel in it, for some people it's not and may take years for them to evolve their new identity. Some people also never quite manage to do that at all. You never can tell. Is it worth it? For me yes. But you never stop being a parent. It's a life long...

I haven't gone into medical menopause but am in that space. I have to use non perfumed (simple) face wash. It really helps. The same for moisturiser or tea tree oil based. Take your time but as you said before look after you, when you can be arsed. But if that takes time don't punish yourself...

    Handling financial differences

I find the cost benefit analysis point at odds with previous points. If that is really the case then give your gf the money. And step back from your relationship, allow her to get back on her feet. Then start again. As you seem to be able to afford to give financially, you may also think about...

I'm sorry you are still in pain but this too will pass. Hopefully soon xx At the same time the fact you are thinking of future job plans. That's amazing! What are you thinking. I find for me when I think of the things I can/will do helps me out of any current issues. I hope your healing gets...

I'm not sure on this. Although pain meds are prescribed, every person is different in their tolerance and need. I have a very high tolerance so on two times (UK based, they are very careful here) I have been given them I weaned off very quickly. BB I hope things feel better soon xx

    Happy pride month...?

I am a mixed-heritage bisexual woman, in a ENM relationship. I guess polyamory technically isn't part of LGBTQ, but does it matter? Pride and Black History Month (UK) are a point of marking and celebrating. In my view, acknowledging people's struggles and marvellousness every day is far more...

    Limerence/attachment/new relationship energy/infatuation/whatever it’s called

Personally, I think I have kind of trained my NRE after many crushes/experiences when I was much younger. I look at it logically. NRE may be wonderful, but it's a chemical reaction, often to someone you really do not know. Then I think about the reality of actually spending time with that...
