Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

3:34 p.m., Tuesday the 12th

We had bean soup for dinner last night. Snowbunny soaked the beans all night, and then simmered them all day yesterday. But alas, the beans were still crunchy.

Today, the three of us (Brother-Husband, Snowbunny, and I) will check out a condo for sale in our area. Property taxes have gone way up on the house we now live in, and we'll almost certainly have to move. It makes me sad.

That's too bad. You guys just bought that house a couple of years ago. I thought property tax shouldn't grow more than 3% each year.

1:20 p.m., Wednesday the 13th

Ours went up like 80%.

4:18 p.m., Thursday the 14th

For dinner last night Snowbunny made us a stir-fry. Beef, broccoli, and onions on a bed of rice. I'm sad to report that it looks like we'll have more of that bean soup tonight -- the one with the crunchy beans. Grrrrr.

4:29 p.m., Friday the 15th

SB cooked the bean soup all day in the slow cooker ... and the beans were only 10% crunchy. That was a relief. I don't know what we'll have tonight, and tomorrow is Saturday so I don't know if we'll watch a Breaking Bad episode tonight.

2:57 p.m., Saturday the 16th

We had salmon for dinner last night, plus a few sides. We did watch a Breaking Bad episode, plus it's likely we'll watch one or two more Breaking Bad episodes tonight. Today isn't very exciting, SB and I think BH are just doing projects around the house. I'm doing my usual internet stuff. I'm somewhat more stressed-out than usual, and as is almost always the case with these stress level spikes, I don't know what's causing it. Hopefully it'll go back down as the day progresses.

1:28 p.m., Sunday the 17th

SB made us a stir fry for dinner yesterday. Shrimp, veggies, and rice. We did watch a Breaking Bad episode, but only one as we got a late start after a Philly Flyers hockey game. I am not a sports nut, but BH is, hockey is his passion, and the Flyers are currently his favorite team.

12:33 p.m., Monday the 18th

Sam came over yesterday, for dinner and a visit, very enjoyable. SB served us fish (halibut I think), pasta/cheese, and veggies. After Sam went home, we watched a couple of Breaking Bad episodes. That's always a good thing.

2:10 p.m., Tuesday the 19th

We had pizza last night, the kind you put in your own oven. It was pretty good. Not a lot to report, things have been pretty quiet around here. Saturday will be awesome, we'll eat out at Tucanos. Sweet.

5:47 p.m., Wednesday the 20th

We had chicken and some sides for dinner yesterday. One of the sides was these Korean noodles, that I guess BH picked out, that were spicy hot. BH doesn't usually do spicy hot, but he clenched his teeth and went with it. I thought the noodles were quite good and had seconds.

Today I believe SB has a roast in the slow cooker, also BH brought home some eggnog (with brandy and rum), so we'll have that tonight as well. Today is a good day.

2:12 p.m., Thursday the 21st

So we had the roast for dinner, plus a few sides, including some green beans that were spicy hot. SB thought they were too hot, but I thought they were just right. After dinner, BH and I watched a Six Feet Under episode.

3:20 p.m., Friday the 22nd

We had some leftovery things last night, we had the rest of the roast and the spicy hot green beans, also dragon fruit and small tomatoes, and a special recipe with eggplants. Tomorrow we'll go driving around with Sam, possibly a road trip, then we'll have our reservation at Tucanos. Don't know what we'll have for dinner tonight.

3:22 p.m., Sunday the 24th

I don't remember what we ate on Friday. Yesterday, we drove up to Santa Fe with Sam, then not long after we got back, the four of us went to Tucanos. It was really good, expensive, but good to do once in a while. Today things have been quiet today, BH got in some overtime at work, doing their Christmas decorations.

12:33 p.m., Monday the 25th

We had the rest of that eggplant dish last night, also some salad/veggies. BH had a headache, so we did not watch anything on TV.

5:40 p.m., Tuesday the 26th

Yesterday SB made us a curry turkey dish, with broccoli. Also breaded/fried eggplant. I don't know what we'll have tonight. I've been trying to fast until dinner and I have to say I'm awfully hungry.

5:19 p.m., Wednesday the 27th

SB made us spaghetti and (meatless) meatballs, it was actually quite good. She said today would be a leftovery day, so we'll see what ends up being for dinner. I'm thinking maybe BH and SB are both off tomorrow, so maybe we'll watch a little Breaking Bad tonight.

12:06 p.m., Thursday the 28th

BH and SB are both off today, and we did watch a Breaking Bad episode last night. We might tonight as well, who knows. SB said we'd have pierogi for Thanksgiving dinner, and probably some bean soup. We had bean soup last night as well, although BH probably had something different as he is not a fan of beans.

2:43 p.m., Friday the 29th

We didn't have bean soup, just pierogi, which is fine, obviously. After dinner we watched another Breaking Bad episode. We might do likewise tonight, BH and SB are almost always off on the weekends.

7:19 p.m., Saturday the 30th

Last night we actually watched two episodes, and we'll watch one or two episodes tonight, after the hockey game ends. For dinner tonight SB prepared salmon and microwaved veggies. Last night we had leftover bean soup and pizza rolls.

2:51 p.m., Sunday the 1st

Instead of episodes, we watched a movie last night, Twisters. It was alright, not overly realistic but I guess that's not why one watches a movie like that. I don't know whether we'll watch anything today. It's a rather uneventful day so far.
