Destannie

I am a cis-gender bisexual woman, married for 20years to a wonderful man, who currently has a long-distance partner. I am relatively new to the LGBTQ+ scene as it is only within the last year (2021) that I’ve come to recognize and accept both my bisexuality and my husbands polyamorousness (long story, you’re welcome to ask ). I would love to one day expand our polycule, but I am currently only interested in developing friendships within the LGBTQ+/poly community and not yet interested in hook-ups (I promise I’ll change this status when I’m ready). I would particularly like to connect with bisexual women to hear and learn about how they navigate relationships and the lessons they’ve learned.

Otherwise, I love reading (..favourite author is Tolkien), and my heart simply melts over a well read poem. I also love Norse mythology (Odin, Hugin, Munin and Loki....I find a lot of meaning in them). The music I like is from all sorts of genres, but currently I listen to a lot of Wardruna, Ludovico Einaudi, Sigur Ros, Jonsi. I play piano for myself (fx songs fra Amelie, The Piano, The Phantom of the Opera, Ludovico Einaudi). I love to hike, boulder/climb (indoors, also with rope), and camp. I speak both English and Danish and am desperately trying to learn German.

I live in a house out in a small harbour village. I have a wood stove, a garden and two adorable cats. I’m involved in an organisation which saves/helps homeless/wild cats in Denmark. So, ya, I LOVE cats.
