    poly is the new gay

It's been 40 years and counting. Gays STILL don't have the right to marry. Even getting a legal "Life partner" status to be able to share things like health insurance etc can be quite an ordeal. In mant states the life partner status has to be brought before a judge who has months to review the...

    Navigating Holiday periods

Yikes, that's a tough situation in many ways. First he has an obligation to his children then add to it the fact that he has kids from two mothers and the schedule becomes far more demanding. Being in a LDR can be a challenge in itself. Is there any you can travel to where he is for holidays...

    Feeling crazy nervous...

^ That. It is a wonderful thing to be able to accept who you are and what you want from life. To let mainstream society dictate whom, and how, you will love is to sell yourself short and possibly miss out on what could otherwise be an even more exceptional life than you might ever find.

    Facilitating Chemistry Between Them?

There could be a lot of reasons for that. Of course I don't know him, but he sounds a little introverted, and that can make it difficult to have so much focus on him at once. He may also not have a good feel for the pace he would like to take things with her yet. It might feel more comfortable...

My favorite strange thing to do

When I get stressed out there are only two things I want to do; clean, or play guitar. Wen I get stressed I get a lot of nervous energy which in turn feeds the feeling of stress. Cleaning the house burns off that energy and leaves me with a feeling of accomplishment. Win - win! :P Playing guitar...

    Inexpensive Date Ideas

It's not where you go, or what you do, it's who you are with. As long as you make the time you spend together special and personal nothing else matters much. You could make a picnic lunch/dinner and go somewhere special, or just under a tree on a blanket... as long as it isn't too cold out. It's...

    Hey all! New triad brewing...

It was the cost of living and taxes that drove us out here to Texas. Financially it has been great moving out here, but the lifestyle here just isn't the same. We just try to remain thankful for the life we have built.. and travel a lot. LOL! X)

    Remember When?

When my family moved to the U.S. in the late seventies, we were very poor. My parents didn't see any need to have jobs and "run the rat race", so we made a living as singing street performers. Most days people browsed by, looking at us as oddities singing random songs on sidewalks and...

This site has helped, but I need a lot more

OMFG! Why knowingly expose yourselves to this? Numbers? Statistics? It will stay with you for life and, if you are responsible, you will have to disclose this to EVERY potential partner for the remainder of your lives. I would advise STRONGLY against this.

    Religious survey

I am atheist. I grew up VERY religious and found more questions than answers. This is just my view. My parents broke religion for me and I completely lost interest. I would shed blood to protect other peoples' right to believe what they see fit. That said, I am a very spiritual person.
