Thanks guys. you are all very right that I'm being insecure, and its kinda weird. Im actually feeling better about it as he has suggested some more social activities we can do together...I guess I was kind of feeling like our relationship was always us alone and i am a VERY social person, so...

This post is over a month old, and things have kinda changed since then. We still aren't friends, but it doesn't matter to me anymore, because he is awesome. I also kinda wish this one wasn't here, as he's now on the forum and I'd rather he didn't read this. lol.

Ah, much love to you all as usual. TO GG and LR, to clarify...I guess Im feeling insecure. I dont have any unmet needs...hes flat out wonderful. We spend more time together lately, hes attentive and sweet (i hope hes reading this..haha) and I know he loves me. I guess i dont get why HE...

and his wife of course. but point taken. my own spouse just gave me an earful about how my feelings on this were not in fairness to Nudge, as I have dated and for all i know could want to again. He HAS committed time to me and does on a regular basis. I guess this is more about my own...

Thanks for sharing this. Some of our family, and all of our coworkers know, but I know there will come a day when BF and i are seen in public (we are very affectionate) by someone and the cat will be more out of the back. this gives me hope for the future of being 'out'

It is interesting, isn't it? Now that you mention it, a guy recently shaved his beard and I was instantly less attracted to him. I love facial hair. Though again, BF has none and I still find him very attractive. If you say you also have long hair I'm gonna start hitting on you. (I kid I kid)

I used to date guys over 6 foot...then I married a man whos 5'10 and hot as hell to me. I always teased him that I;d made an exception....Well, my boyfriend is maybe 5'8. It happens, give the guy a shot :) *(and im not tall either, im about 5'5)

Opalescent, I was talking about my boyfriend re: comfort zone, not all people in general. I wouldn't encourage someone I'm not involved with to share things with me they didn't want to

If she is still thinking of "choosing" one person and not another, than she is not being poly. In my mind, you dont decide to be poly while also keeping the option of choosing to be with one person and not hte other....unless she wants poly but with only one of you.

My therapist (doesnt everybody have one?) asked if i really NEED to know when my other partners have sex. Interesting question.
