How did I get here & Where am I going?

Ahhhhh, love your writing, II. Hope things get sorted out with the gf, and you can continue having a boring poly life. Turns out that isn't a bad thing. ;)

Poly Vignettes: Sharing Success & Happiness

I aspire to that, but do still get quite nervous about others' reactions.

    Omniamory

"Bisexual culture" makes me cringe more intensely than "poly lifestyle." Just sayin.' :p

    Division in the poly community

Have to disagree with you, here. (And NYC's similar sentiment; can't be bothered to multiquote on iPad.) I do believe it is possible for someone to choose to be poly, structure their relationships in a poly fashion, or identify as poly. However you'd like to put it. But there are some for whom...

    Turnabout

I don't agree with the lying, but maybe here's some motivation/understanding/another point of view. Read what you've written: If the roles were reversed, would you really want to deal with that kind of unpredictable behaviour every time Butch made contact with you?? Indigo lies about stupid...

I had a movement this morning.

I don't have any. On either of them!

    Omniamory

Hehehe I love that show. But using omni instead of bi freaks me out, because if we were to be true to the omni part, it would mean EVERYTHING-- children, animals, bedposts. Granted, pan does the same thing, but doesn't have the squick factor for me. And that, folks, is my completely sound...

    Couple-hunting in Unicornia

So what you're saying is that my suggestion of "clusterfuck" didn't even make the short list?? :p

    Omniamory

But I thought polyamory was simply the ability to love more than one. So if they can do that, then they're polyamorous. No one says you HAVE to love more than one, if you're capable of it. Perhaps that makes "omniamory" a sub-type of poly? I have to admit, when I see new, super-specific terms...

    the story of a secondary

Someone in another poly group I belong to posted this: http://www.psychologytoday.com/collections/201108/risk-and-relationships-1/taking-the-fear-out-i-love-you It might be nice to frame it that way to him. And hopefully, that is what you mean and you don't need to hear it back from him, but...

Poly Vignettes: Sharing Success & Happiness

As an update, no one really noticed. About half knew, and of the other half, no one asked me anything directly. All in all, another anticlimactic poly experience. :D

    Redpepper's journey

I have to admit, I got a little tired of reading the new to poly section for a bit. So sad. So much hurt. It also may have been the reason behind the recent "practicing" addition to my signature. :p

This is a lot of work. (TP's story, when she feels like updating)

Thank you for the good (if scary) advice. I've definitely said that it felt like my lady parts were going to fall out. And leg pain. I get leg pain during the bad cramps, which from reading I believe happens because the uterus is close to various nerves. I did quickly look at endometriosis...

    well it's official...but now what?

Why can't you bring it up? I hope you're better than me at not accidentally falling down and sucking cock. :p

Yeah, shortly after I got my IUD, my mother told me she had her hysterectomy (at around age 28) because of either lots of cysts of endometriosis (can't remember which). *facepalm*
