    A Funny Picture

I didn't really know where to put this, it's just something I found on the internet and it made me smile, despite the "polygamist" bit.

I dont know if this is the right place but...

Hello...I'm RockBird's ex-girlfriend/lover. I had posted before in this thread, at the beginning of our ordeal. I'm really happy with what's happened because it was extremely tough for both of us to make the transition from long-term relationship to friends. Right now I guess we're between...

New spouse wants sex with Saudi Virgin

Seeing the other posts in this thread, I felt the need to comment...even if I'm probably not qualified to give this sort of advice. I don't really see the problem here. If you feel like you are at a point of understanding and equality with your wife, then it's okay for her to be with Ahmed...

    Imagine your ideal relationships.

If I lived in an amazing dream world, my ideal relationship would be between me, my (strictly mono) ex, and my best friend. We would live happily ever after in a closed V, where I'd be married to both of them. If I had to start from scratch, I guess I'd like being married to only one person...

    "The Christian Marriage"

I think that's probably why he's not too worried about it. He understands that the Bible was written by prejudiced men, and not everything that's written is accurate, or meant to be followed. It just worries me, because even though I'm not a believer myself, I understand that his faith is...

    Regarding Labels and Definitions

I hold marriage in pretty high esteem. I think it's one thing to be in a long-term relationship, but to be MARRIED, to declare yourself in front of friends and family, and legally too, that's like "the final frontier". I don't consider divorce as an option for myself, so if I marry someone, I...

    "The Christian Marriage"

I'm not interested in debating the Bible here, but then I see "The Christian Marriage" I think about something that's happening in my life. When I broke up with my boyfriend, it was because I had fallen for his best friend, who is Catholic. He is surprisingly semi-ok with the possibility of...

    Regarding Labels and Definitions

Actually, I do really want to be married someday. One thing that's painful to me is that if I end up with two co-primaries, that I won't be able to marry them both. If I ever end up having feelings for someone other than my spouse, I think I'd like to keep it at romantic friendship, or...

    Regarding Labels and Definitions

In my particular situation, only two people know that I'd like to be poly. I actually cringe at the thought of telling people "I'm polyamorous", because they wouldn't understand, and I'd have to explain myself in the context of a larger movement and lose focus on what I am. Once I've explained...

    Relationship commitment

To me, commitment is about loyalty and dedication. It's about saying "I'll stand by you and work hard to make this relationship work". I think that can apply to all relationships, poly or mono, and has nothing to do with "control".

is it ok to judge people on their past?

I wouldn't say it's wrong, but it's certainly naive. Ignoring the bad parts of people is dangerous and can land you in worlds of hurt. There's being optimistic about someone, and then there's willingly putting your personal safety in jeopardy because the other person "deserves a chance". It...

    Witchcraft

Witchcraft...I don't know much about it really. I know that it's a religious ritual that's supposed to have some kind of tangible effect...but as someone who is very scientifically minded, I don't think it's anything more than wishful thinking. Certainly no more effective than "regular" prayer.
