    PolyinPractice: Thanks for your reply! DP2 is not concerned about the term. We're all far more pragmatic than that. :) In my years of poly, this is the first time, though, that I've had to deal with the situation of having one 'legal' partner, and one....I guess 'stranger under the law'...

    Hi - Long term poly here, 35.5 years with one partner (DP1) I am legally married to DP1 (same sex), and we are approaching 6 years with the second partner (DP2). I need to add DP2 onto our auto insurance policy, but am not quite sure how to list her. Friend? Roommate? Other? DP1 and DP2...

    Hi, Kevin, thanks for the welcome. Yes, my partners know each other quite well. One is sitting less than five feet from me, eating ice cream, and the other is asleep in her room, since she was tired when she came home from work. We live together as a family, and have for quite a few years...

    When do you tell your partner you are pursuing someone else?

    I have always told my partner(s) about an attraction as soon as it became more than a casual 'hey, I'm going to meet that person I told you about from yoga class for coffee'. IMO, blindsiding leads to much poly hell. That's why I have never done it, and always advise against it!

    Hi there - New to Oregon (about a year), but not new to poly. I have been poly (mostly the point of the V) most of my adult life (and I'm now in my early 50s). I have two partner-types. I say partner types, because one is a legal marriage (F/F) and one is a Leather relationship (also F/F)...
