We are a couple in the PNW new to this idea. We live on 12 acres with a young one, horse, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs... you get the idea. Both are very educated and this topic is just coming up. We have a truly amazing relationship, we very rarely even argue and are typically on the same page. Ages 34-40, successful and well established. We generally just believe this type of lifestyle would just suit us, we are open minded and another person (pref a female) would help us out so much with all that we do, including adding to our relationship. We just hope to get some insight, maybe meet someone but definitely make friends. Thanks for having us, JJ

I noticed you use the terms "we" and "us" throughout your post rather than "I", so I have to ask... is this a joint profile?

I'll let the Mods or more experienced members speak to this, and the topics of "couple privilege" and "unicorn hunting"... however, is there any chance you and your partner could make separate profiles so you can post separately if you're both going to be using the forum.

You didn't actually have a question yet Lunabunny gave you the beginnings of some very valuable insight. I have to question who is being passive-aggressive.
