Suggestions for a presentation

I'm doing a presentation on polyamory at the Unitarian universalists community here this next week. I was wondering if you all would give me some "be sure to include" for it.

I am going to be working it in with the principles of Unitarian universalists

My topics covered so far are the tie ins with the principles,
What it is
What it isnt
Affect on Children

Any quotes, notes, ideas for other topics or suggested ways of broaching these topics would be appreciated.
 
Well do a little thing called " research" and read around the forum. There are some old threads about UU's and poly somewhere. You can find them by doing a tag search or keyword search. I know you're looking for other people to just spoon-feed you the answers, but you will feel a much greater sense of accomplishment and personal enrichment if you do your own homework. You have to make up the presentation by yourself anyway, right?
 
BoringGuy, I read this board about every day, I just dont post often. I'm finishing up my presentation and realized I had no community input. I also didnt want to take anyone's words without permission.
 
I'm sure you already know about Unitarian Universalists for Polyamory Awareness, but they have a course called Love Makes a Family and various pieces of literature you can download from this page (scroll down to see all): http://uupa.org/Literature/LoveMakesAFamily.htm . You can also try PM'ing forum user jasminegld, who is very involved with UUPA. And yes, there is a long thread about the UUPA in the Spirituality forum here.
