Hi,

Are there any sites that host poly stories, romance? There are enough sites for lesbian fiction, femslash fiction, etc. Are there similar sites for poly fiction/stories?

Funny you should ask. I'm looking too.

Saturday I had lunch with some slash writers. I found out that slash isn't what I thought it was at all. It sounds like violent porn to me, but is actually... well, see the def at the end of this post. That got me thinking about poly stories/poly porn.

But I'd want educational/respectful/meaningful poly porn, not cheater porn or cuckolding porn. To make E/R/M porn, I'd need lots of conversations, you know, that communication y'all talk about. Maybe I should look through the slash stuff first.

Yes, I think the term slash is misleading. Many years back, when I stumbled across the term femslash, I associated it with something gruesome. It's actually nothing more than F/F fiction based on TV, movie, or book characters.

I am searching high and low for such poly romance stories/erotica, but, like you, am not interested in the banal threesome erotica of Ellora's Cave, or Phaze, or whatever.
 
I realize that I have read a series that would be considered "poly". Laurell K. Hamilton writes supernatural romance stuff and has an ongoing relationship with many, many men throughout the series. At one point, she is living in a triad, while seriously dating one other man. It gets rather complicated. ;) The series starts off with a pretty good plot, if you dig the whole vampire/supernatural thing. I found that the plot became very, very thin later in the series, and was pretty much porn, with loose character development thrown in. Definitely poly, though!
 
My Lady recently found one with a very interesting poly twist. It is a romance book by the author Lora Leigh, called "Forbidden Pleasure."
