Just this really. Im planning to talk about this with my partner sooner than I thought and I would like to ask if I have to take in consideration whatever you guys can tell me. Thank you in advance and have a wonderful day!

Hi hetcurious,
Just know that if your partner says no to poly, that doesn't mean you did something wrong, or approached it in the wrong way. Poly just isn't right for everyone, that's all. It's possible you will find out that you are poly and your partner is mono, and the two of you are actually incompatible. But don't rush to any conclusions, give yourselves some time to ponder and figure out what's right for both of you.
