    Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

These jobs always take longer than they estimate.. :/ Also, if you have a good sized bucket you can fill up with water before they shut it off, you can pour that into a toilet quickly in order to "manually" flush it. Pouring water into the bowl quickly will start the siphoning action.

I love salmon. Especially sockeye. Are SB's moods maybe related to work or something else related, and it just is expressed at you or BH in these ways as a means for her to vent?

I'm not sure I'd find that acceptable, for me. Seems to me if you've got a date scheduled, that should be real and scheduled. I would put that as a matter of honor and respect. Anyways, I'm sorry to hear it didn't work out so well too. I hope he gets his shit together soon.

    PNW - Greetings!

Hey Wildsky, You're story sounds so familiar. We were both in IT, and moved away from Vancouver, BC to do the same sort of homesteady stuff. We still have cell internet, but have been waiting to hear more reviews on what Starlink is like. Anyways, welcome! :)

    In the garden

Glad it got resolved and you're feeling better. I don't post a lot myself. I spend most of my time reading/learning. I'd like you (and all the people that write in this section) to know how much I appreciate your contributions here. These blog/life story posts feel so much more like real-life...

    In the garden

Yeah, I don't like hot drinks at all either. I just drink cold water even in the winter. And then put on my hoodie cause I'll feel cold.. lol

    In the garden

Something that helped me lose some weight a while back was to switch all my drinks to water, and drink twice as much of that as I was.. Cuts out a lot of straight up sugar that way. Drinking more made me feel fuller, and so I'd eat less. Kinda boring drinking water all the time.. But, what can...

    Now I’m really confused

I'm both sorry to hear that but also happy for you. It sounds like you did the right thing to me, even though I can imagine it must hurt. He seriously sounds like he's got some self issues to resolve before he has relationships with anyone. Now, after you heal, you can move forward and find...

    Hi there

Hi BigR, Welcome to the forums. I've only been here about a week myself. And much like you, still learning about the whole polyamory thing. What my wife and I have been doing is basically what Halo said, "read, read, read and discuss, discuss, discuss". For the asymmetry thing.. One of the...

I always knew it was with an 's', but I never really knew why. I actually thought it was maths because there are many types, like arithmetic, geometry, trig, calculus, etc, etc.. But your reason is far more simple.. lol I love maths/sciences... I quite enjoyed watching Hannah Fry's videos on...

    Now I’m really confused

Ahh, I guess that's where I was lacking the history of things. idk if this will help but here goes... Sometimes my wife will flip-flop on various topics. Essentially, it happens when her logical mind thinks one thing, but a few days later, her emotional mind thinks the opposite. Seems to me the...

    Now I’m really confused

I see. That's good. I'm not sure I see the problem. He's suggesting you both work on non-monogamy together, which is something you wanted anyways. And he doesn't sound like he's got any unfair expectations that you ditch your other BF or anything. So.. Seems like it's all good news, no?

    Greetings

Thanks Halo! I've already been reading through a bunch of that stuff already :)(seen Kevin's replies to other Intro posts).

    Now I’m really confused

Hiya Cas, I'm very new around here, so I don't know all the ongoing saga. Was he really asking you to close off your relationship with other BF? That would seem unreasonable to me. If he wants to be non-monogamous together with you, does that mean he is open to developing a relationship with...

    Greetings

Hi all, Finally decided it was time to create an account here. I've been lurking for some months now while learning about polyamory. My wife and I have been discussing polyamory for half a year or so. We both seem to feel it will work for us, but of course it also seems scary (change always is...
