I was telling my mom that I got a cold call from a headhunter offering a job in Salt Lake City. She said "well, if you move there you could pick up another wife", to which I replied "you know, I could do that right here in town, too"

She said I surprised her.

(and yeah, I know all about LDS and the official stance on polygamy. Mom was making a joke, all present Mormons are kindly asked to put away torches and pitchforks)

No prob, from a born/raised Mormon. We did, after all, introduce the whole "polygamy" thing in the beginning (and most of its remnants are split-offs from the main Mormon church).

Sounds like you gave your mom a run for her money.
