Hi, I am sure this information is somewhere in the forums already, but I can't find anything in the search.
What are some of the better books to read on polyamory? I know about The Ethical Slut and More Than Two, but are they some of the better ones or are there others out there that better resonate with you?
Thanks

"Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships" by Tristan Taormino is the top recommendation on the "Poly Weekly" web site, and my favorite as well. It is somewhat dated in its technological references and lack of some of the more recent poly terms such as compersion -however, I think it does a very nice job of introducing the topics of consensual non-monogamy and polyamory. The author first gives an overview of the larger world of consensual non-monogamy then places poly within that larger context, followed by a more in depth look at poly.

"Ethical Slut", "More Than Two", and "Opening Up" are generally considered the "Big 3" poly books (so to speak). Al

Hi Cami242,

See also Book and Website Recommendations ... and do read Opening Up. Another book I enjoyed is, "Sex at Dawn: how we mate, why we stray, and what it means for modern relationships," by Christopher Ryan and Cacilda Jethá.

Sincerely,
Kevin T.

Thank you for the recommendations. I knew there had to be a section in here somewhere for books and websites.

My wife suggested I read "Forbidden Pleasure" by Lora Leigh. I absolutely loved it, as did my wife. Lora Leigh writes a lot of erotica, but this one was amazing.

The way she described the husband in this book was so close to my own beliefs and desires I was starting to wonder if she interviewed me without me knowing it, lol.
