Breaking the News to my Poly, me2

OK, so I've been a mono in a poly for a while now and am ready to tell my girl friend that I would like to also become poly and I'm not sure how to break the news to her, any advice would be appreciated.
 
Yes she is poly and the issue is that we were very fine with her being poly until it became painfully clear to me that I may never be in bed with her and her female lover again so now I would like to find a secondary to spend sometime with while she with her other lover are together.
 
If you're used to having threesomes with her and her other lover, why would you call yourself mono? And why would she think that you are mono? It's not very monogamous to have threesomes, or sex with a partner's partner! I am also curious as to why you're seeking advice at a polyamory-focused site, since sex seems to be your motivation. Perhaps a swingers site is more suited to your situation and goals.
