I would suggest two boards to you:
Dating & Friendships subforum
Golden Nuggets board
They will help you find even more friends, more people to chat with, and some good basic help and guidance that will get you through what you need to know as you start off in poly.
In the meantime, have a look around the site in general, see what threads call to you, and post any questions you may have.
