I think you'll find that Polyamory.com is a valuable resource for learning as much as you can about poly. Not only do we have a lot of insightful threads on record, but you can also post questions and get custom info from a lot of diverse people. The site has a lot of combined experience for you to utilize.
I hope that when the time comes, you and your husband will be able to sit down together and work out an agreement you can both live with. There's books you can read too; let me know if you're interested; I'll post a list of good ones for you.
