Hi all! I'm Blondi, and I'm very new to this forum, but not to polyamory.
I'm in what I consider quite a complicated relationship, but that's possibly because I don't know anyone outside of our relationship who is poly.
I would probably call our relationship a W shape, but its not quite that simple.
There's Jem, my largely mono boyfriend of 12 years, who is 28.
Then there's myself, and I'm also 28 and I'm poly.
Then there's our 'middle hinge' Red, my poly, pansexual boyfriend of 10 years, who is also 28. The three of us live together, and are actually planning on having children in the next few years. Pretty much everyone knows we are poly, and we've been really lucky that everyone so far has been really accepting.
On the 'other side' of the W is Red's boyfriend Blue, who is also poly, pansexual and has just turned 23 last week. He and Red have been together for just under a year, but Jem and I have known him since he was 11
I also sometimes date Blue very casually.
Finally, there's Vic. Vic is Blue's on-off girlfriend of 6 years, and she's 21 and mono. She is still finding Blue and Red's relationship slightly difficult to deal with, but she gets on really well with the rest of us, and we see her fairly often. Vic still lives with her parents, and Blue lives with his two best friends. Vic also has had a purely sexual relationship with Jem recently.
So, that's all of us. Jem, Red and I were kind of rocked my the addition of Blue and Vic last year after 4 years of just being the three of us, but we are definitely enjoying our new normal. I know Blue and Vic are finding it difficult just now, but we're all trying to support them as much as we can.
