I've been dating my primary, R, a cute nerdy boy, since the start of uni, coming up to a year and a half soon. About a month ago I asked out my other boyfriend, L, an eccentric genderqueer cutie. For about 6 months, prior to commencing my relationship with L, I was in a BDsm relationship with a guy 30 years my senior. My family knows about my two boyfriends and are very supportive. I've kinda known polyamory was a thing I wanted to try since i was 14 and in my first relationship.
Its really intimidating coming into the poly community where everyone seems so much older and experienced than me. Kinda like going to a kink party where everyone was at least 10 years my senior and I couldn't relate to any of them (been there, done that, was bad). I know a couple of other young poly people irl within my local uni nerd community but the online community seems so very old
Currently I'm struggling with a crush I've had for 6 months on a guy who I flirt with and would love to hook up with but with whom I have a very established friendship with and who apparently is too jealous for polyamory.
As well as figuring out how to deal with my boyfriends' families, one of whom found out and weren't happy and the other who apparently will react badly if told.
Apart from relationship stuff, I'm a big nerd who loves boardgames and trpgs and books, watches way too much youtube and enjoys swimming and nature. I'm also very interested in biology (which is what I'm studying) and research. I think its already been established, but I am also a kinkster, currently switching with L.
