Intro - Sacramento Area

Hi,

My name is Glenn and I'm chiming in to say hi and introduce myself.

I currently live in the Chicago area but will be relocating to the Sacramento area in late June.

I have been married for 21 years. My wife and I have enjoyed an open marriage in one form or another since day one. The past ten years though have been only closed (poly-fi), STI tested, fluid bonded poly relationships.

Our sons are 14 and 19 and are fully aware and supportive of us. Most of our friends and limited family know as well.

Our move to Sacramento will bring with it an end to both of our secondary relationships (hers 7 years, mine 5 years). :( This will be very difficult for all of us, but at the same time we recognize nothing in life is static, and new doors open as other doors close. It will be difficult nonetheless.

I have had some great opportunities to socialize within the Chicago poly community and I look forward to making new friends in the Sacramento area as well.

-Glenn

Greetings Glenn,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

Sounds like you have a good amount of poly/open experience, and you and your wife are on the same page. It's awesome that people know of your arrangement and accept it. I hope your move in June runs smoothly, I think it will.

Let us know if you have any questions,
Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)
