Ugh, only a month and that is how he is? Needy, clingy, wants to be in control, yuck. Maybe eventually you will stop being attracted to such controlling men. That is a pattern you can leave behind in your new independent life.

Hi. Yes, I am aware that I am attracted to controlling men. My first husband was not controlling at all; so not controlling he never cared what I did, who I saw, or pretty much anything. After that, I changed, and now I'm attracted to strong-minded men, sadly controlling, I guess. I hadn't thought about it until now. Needy, no. Needy makes me want to run. But I'm no peach. I'm pretty controlling, myself. I'm very strong-minded. I expect a lot out of myself and in turn, and this is something I'm not proud of, I can expect a lot out of others.
