Marriage?

Hey all. I'm currently in a triad with 2 people that I love and adore. They are married and have been for a long time. I always thought that I would get married, but now it's looking like something that is an impossibility. My question is, does anyone else feel a desire to get/be married, and how did you resolve that when on a relationship that does not allow for it.

We've been in a triad for about 2 years, we all live together, and we plan to keep it that way.

My boyfriend and I plan on getting married some day, yeah it won't be legal but it will be a commitment ceremony for us regardless. We'll still be married in our hearts, just not in the yes of the law

The V I'm in is handfasted, but whereas my two companions are legally married to each other, I am not a part of that. Luckily for me, I don't care much for legal marriage these days. That might change if I lived long enough to see sufficient reform in marital law, but right now SSM is the reform they're working on (which is okay by me).

I'm legally married and will be hand fasted with my boyfriend in May. We've done paperwork so he has a lot of standing legally, even though the state doesn't recognize us as a couple. So we have each other's medical power of attorney, joint bank accounts, life insurance beneficiaries, etc.
