Granted, this is after the fact, but have her look into getting him proper motorcycle training...it helped both of us greatly. Easy to go straight and get there in a hurry, the dangerous part is not knowing how to react. The best analogy to riding and enjoying a motorcycle is similar to watching a black & white TV and then seeing the same show in high definition...it's like someone switched on the world.
