Hello all,
I's so glad to have found this forum and don't know why I didn't find it sooner. My wife and I have been exploring a form of poly life for almost a year now. Admittedly, we fell immediately into the cliche unicorn hunter category as we've been focused on just dating women together with the hope of eventually building a closed triad. Yeah, we know that's not really "poly" per se and that it's frowned on, but it's just what felt right. We're very aware of the potential unfairness of such a situation for the single and have tried very hard to also cultivate individual relationships with the couple of women we've dated so far and to avoid any kind of inequality (couple priviledge). Still, we're seeing the difficulty in having everyone's feelings for each other grow at a similar pace - especially since I'm currently able to spend more time with our girlfriend than my wife is. We're now considering exploring separate individual relationships and/or other paths to getting everyone's needs met. So it's great to find a community where we can learn from your wealth of experience and hopefully make some like-minded friends and gain a bit of a support structure.
