Hi there!

My name's Ninne and I'm from Brazil. I found the poly community because I've been in a... "situation" that I really need help with. I'll talk about it in a separate thread, but I became interested in getting to know more about the community and the many different stories that we have to tell. So I'm here to ask for (and to give!) advice, and also open to make friends!

Hi Ninne - and welcome to the Forum! I noticed that you posted in the Relationships section also - and that have already received some solid feedback. Please do hesitate to continue that discussion, as well as sharing any other thoughts and questions that you might have. Best of luck on your journey! Al

Greetings Ninne,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

I read your other thread, and responded there briefly. To summarize, you should take things one little step at a time, and put lots of space between each pair of steps. The poly discussion is a slow one, it can take over a year for everyone to get onboard. So be patient. Also I hope you'll keep us updated on your situation, so that we can give updated advice.

It's awesome that you're here! You will no doubt be able to make friends here, and people will definitely come to you for advice. I am glad to make your acquaintance!

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!
