We have been seeing so many spam accounts successfully making it through the registration process that new profiles need to be reviewed one by one. This may occasionally result in non-spam accounts being deleted in error. To prevent this, we strongly recommend that new members write something in their profiles and/or make a short introductory post in the public forums so that we can see there is a legitimate human being and not a business or a spambot associated with it.

Completely understandable. Just to reassure you, I'm neither a bot nor a spammer. I'm just reaching out.
 
I just want to thank everyone for their patience and apologize if your profile has been mistaken for spam. We do our best to review every newly registered profile individually because a great deal of spam makes it past the spam filter. Due to the increasing use of AI, there has been an uptick in both the quantity and variety of "fake" profiles. Please note that profiles that are seeking sex only or "no-strings-attached fun", etc. (or have a profile picture of their genitalia or people having sex) may also be regarded as spam and treated accordingly. This is a forum for polyamory, and I don't think it's necessary to repeat an explanation of what that word does/does not mean right now.

If you post something in this thread, that is one way of letting us know you are "real".

Unfortunately, as moderators we do not have access to the "Contact Us" messages (that is only for the Admins), but we are working on an alternative solution so you can reach out to us in the event that your profile was inadvertently deleted as spam.
