Hi everyone!
I'm EquusLupus and have recently decided (discovered?) that I'm poly in some fashion. I'm currently in a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend of 2 years but am wanting more of an open relationship due to sexual incompatibilities between the two of us. The last thing I want is for it to be a "relationship solver" (because it's not) so we are taking our time to figure things out.
I'm still in reading mode and trying to accept things as they are. I struggle with guilt and worrying about hurting him (his previous two relationships became open after both partners cheated and told him that they would be open or they would leave him). I have a lot of personal issues to work on before I think this is successful but it is still hard trying to be patient and wait for him to come around to the idea of it.
I hope to be around more and am excited to see where this goes!
