Thought I'd quickly address this. As we live in the UK we should be able to do this free/cheaply. I understand the concern there, though.MONTHLY?!?! Do you have any idea what that costs? (most insurance doesn't pay for that level of testing outside of serious risk factors... and having a partner with a paranoid girlfriend doesn't count)
I feel like I understand what everyone's saying. I guess at this point the rules we have in place are kind of against a polyamorous relationship, but that's probably because neither of us are ready to really think about one. We discussed it together, and came up with all the rules together, but we're still healing fom the cheating so I guess we can't really think about this stuff properly yet.
In future I think we'll end up developing these rules. In terms of the "veto", it will go from "as many times" to a set amount of times.
As GalaGirl said, we need to heal from the cheating before we really think about this, and when we do we'll have to introduce more flexibility.
Thanks for your comments everyone. The priority for now is healing from cheating, and doing research.
Are there more books or websites you would suggest?
