When we started, we divided expenses by the total number of people in the home and the parents are responsible for their individual expense and their childrens.
As described in a previous post.
We aren't a triad, we're a V. But we have a mixed household of children, we all live together.
At this point, all of the money goes into one account, bills and groceries etc are paid from that account which I manage, and the extra is separated between the adults for personal stuff.
