Hi, everyone!

My name is Bartira, I am 30 years old and I am Brazilian.

I never had a polyamorous relationship, but I just can fit the 'regular' standards and people usually think I am'weird'...

I believe it is possible to love more than one person at the same time, It's hard for me to believe people who swear they don't feel attracted to anyone else than their actual partner and things like that and debating these issues with a friend he told me to research about polyamory...

I did it and here I am...

Maybe I am not crazy after all...lol

Welcome, Bartirah - I would say you've come to the right place for more information! I've only been here a couple of months myself - and new to poly as well, but have found everyone to be very welcoming and helpful - with lots of sound advice and good information. If you have specific questions, post them to the appropriate section and you are almost certain to get some good replies. Also, check out the search feature - there are over 200K posts archived on this board - going back several years - lots of good info there also.

Oi Bartira, tudo bom? Vc chegou no site certo. Here you will find a lot of information, we talk about plenty of subjects regarding polyamory. There's more than enough links too to useful websites. So feel free to explore here and post messages, you'll get good feedback.

Just as a side note, polyamory is not opposed to monogamy. Is not like one way is "better" than the other. There's people that prefer poly and there's people that are more comfortable with mono. Is just about respecting your own nature and what you want from relationships and love. It sounds like you are poly, or at least interested in exploring it, but there might be people that are mono and that's fine =)
