Hello and Welcome. Always nice to see other poly people here in Texas!
Thank you for the welcome. I'll admit, I'm a bit nervous. Not about my sexuality, but about the logistics of meeting people safely and discreetly. The last thing I want is for my private life to threaten my public life.
A little about me: I'm a woman in my late 40s. I have been in long-term relationships with men and women, individually. I am semi "out" as a bisexual woman. Those around me know, but I don't announce it with a megaphone. Haha!
I enjoy just about anything outdoors. We all have our happy place, and that is definitely mine.
The two polyamorous relationships I had were 20 years ago. The first was with a husband/wife couple. It was really only a sexual thing and it ended after a few weeks. I had nothing in common with them so a friendship wasn't in the mix.
The next relationship was with a lesbian couple. We were all friends. It lasted for a few months but it caused issues in their relationship so it ended. Plus, I was very busy establishing my career and my priorities were elsewhere.
Fast forward 20 years, during which I have dated men and women. One relationship lasted for a decade.
The past couple of years have been spent in quiet introspection. While I have dated casually, I have really enjoyed delving into my own interests and desires. It's amazing what you find when you look.
