hello all. i think i'm in the right part of the forum but if i'm misreading, i apologize.

i'm a 40-something straight cis male in central kentucky, looking for connections of any kind. i have one regular partner, who i started dating recently and am still working to define what the relationship will be, and two comet partners. i hate the "FWB" term but the latter two fall more into that category i suppose--genuine friends who i get to see now and then, and usually sleep with when we see each other.

i'm looking for a partner, a community, a friend, a texting buddy, really whatever i find here. time is a real issue as it is for any of us, but i'll be frank about my schedule and overall situation with any new connections of any kind.

If you want a local polyamorous group, you could try googling "polyamory" + your closest city. Of course, you won't find as many polyamorists in KY as you might in, say, Boston or Seattle, but it's worth looking. Some swinger groups also border on polyamory in some ways, for alternative relationships that are adjacent.

thanks so much for your input. i've started trying to engage with some of the poly groups here locally (definitely not as much of a scene as the places you mentioned, but i'm close to lexington, which has a decent sized community of all sorts of alternative folks), but i'm older than most, and a bit of a wallflower, so it's kinda slow going so far.
