A bit scared but eager in Guelph

Hi gang, how's it going. I don't really know what to expect from this site, but the concept behind polyamory holds a lot of weight and value to me.

To get things started, I have never been in a polyamory relationship, or a relationship in general. I don't know why, I always wanted one, but I could never get to the point. Recently a friend of mine told me about her relationships with people. It was very intriguing but unfortunately the time she would include me in that polyamory style group has now passed (I am still pretty heart broken about that). But I loved the idea and concept and if I wanted to be in a relationship, this one sounded the most ideal to me. It was thanks to Laci Green's sex+ channel that I came across this term, and now I am hoping to get some first hand experience.

I am scared, as stated, never been in a relationship. But I deeply care about the people I am involved with and go to great lengths for them. I just hope I can do that in a more meaningful way. Thanks for tuning in. :)

Greetings Moody,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

I looked at your other thread and responded there briefly. I hope you find yourself in a relationship soon; in the meantime, see if you can find out whether poly is right for you. We can help you decide.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Hi Amanda,

I suggest you post the above in an independent thread, in the Press and media coverage board.

Currently you have two identical posts in threads where they are off-topic. It is more appropriate for you to have your own thread where your post will be on-topic.

I hope your study goes well.
Sincerely,
Kevin T.
