I wish that there was a way to wave shyly at everyone in the crowd right now because that's what I would be doing. I'm insanely awkward, but somehow I really dig that about myself.
I'm half of a married couple that have had a billion conversations about our relationship, our love and our capacity to share our lives with people in a way that transcends friendship. In a non-religious way, we seek fellowship that could lead to love and partnership.
Both of us are in our thirties, pansexual and totally coming into this experience with our eyes open and our hearts cautious, but willing.
We live near Pittsburgh, PA but really enjoy our rural suburban setting. With this being said, it's hard to find like-minded people in a small and conservative community!
I'm reading these threads like mad for so many reasons:
1. To understand how those in experienced poly relationships deal with the everyday life in a world so "weirded out," by the idea of sharing your life with more than one person.
2. To think about things that come up in poly relationships that I haven't thought about before.
3. To find my people!
I look forward to meeting people on the journey.
