I'm really surprised this has not popped up on the forum already. We often talk about polyamory being a movement lead by women.

One of those founding women, Deborah Taj Anapol, died yesterday. She wrote one of the earliest books about poly and had remained a major force in poly and other related sex-positive movements for decades. Alan from Poly in the Media has a round up of the news and some reactions. http://polyinthemedia.blogspot.com/

I never met her but know people who were friends with her, who took workshops with her, worked on projects with her. It's a major loss.

I liked her writing style even when I disagreed with parts of her philosophy. It was interesting to see her views evolving over time. I was looking forward to what she would write about next.
