Hi guys (and gals),

Just a quick introduction; I'm Niggi, 34 yo, bi, living in the southern part of the Netherlands with my husband, dog, horse, three cats and five chickens :D

My husband and I have always been very open to each other with lots of room to explore. He works for the Dutch Air Force so is away from home a lot, and lately I've been considering the idea of how it would be to have a secondary meaningful relationship alongside our marriage (as opposed to FWB or ONS). We've had a couple of conversations about it and he's not opposed to the idea, but of course we have a lot to figure out on how we could make that work.

I hope this forum will be of help guiding us through this journey!

Greetings Niggi,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

Polyamory.com will probably be a good help to you in helping you figure things out, have a look around and post your thoughts and questions as your situation evolves. A really good book you should read is, "Opening Up: a guide to creating and sustaining open relationships," by Tristan Taormino. Also check out, Master Thread - links to other threads worth reading (in Golden Nuggets). I'll be following you in this thread, so let me know how I can help. Also you may want to post in Poly Relationships Corner, where you can get more responses from a wider range of people. For now I'll just say that communication is the key, as you work out with your husband how you could make poly work for you. Good luck!

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Een noorderbuur!

I see many nationalities here, but mainly native English speakers. That's ok by the way, I'm kinda used to that (my girlfriend speaks English). Nice to see someone close though...
