Girlfriend's Wedding

Hey, all. My girlfriend's wedding was last night. I knew it was going to be rough on me, but I had a mostly great time.

But I'm suddenly wide awake, unable to sleep, and heartbroken.

Yes, I boozed it up at the wedding. Yes, I'm not well rested. Yes, my date is a platonic friend, so I have no romantic distraction. And yes, weddings just make me emotional.

But my eyes are still wet.
 
That sounds like it sucks, I'm sorry you're hurting. Good luck working through it!
 
I'm sorry you are sad. Dealing with situations like that can catch people even years after they are no longer seeing someone so it is no surprise it might stretch your ability to cope now. It sounds like you have somewhat of a handle on it so I hope you feel more at peace soon.
