I figured I may as well do a intro :)

My name is Maygen. I'm from Alberta, Canada (yes, it's cold haha). I've been polyamorous all my life, without knowing the proper term for it. My first girlfriend also had a boyfriend who was also my friend.

I tried the monogamous route for a few years and just couldn't do it. Fortunately during that time I found my long term/common law male partner. He has taken a bit and a lot of talking to become comfortable with polyamoury and we always continue to talk as there are always ways we can improve.

A bit different for me is that I am asexual, biromantic. So finding poly partners that accept that has been difficult. But I do have my common-law spouse, a wonderful girlfriend and an amazing boyfriend. Of course it's always a learning curve when a sexual person is dating an asexual, but as with anything we talk things through :)

Well that's definitely a very small summary of me and my polyamoury. Kinda only scratches the surface but I'm not going to write a novel haha
