Hello my name is Gabe, I'm 21 and I'm in a triad. I'm married and we have a girlfriend that is living with us. I was looking for a community that supports this way of life and I hope I have found it. I live in Tennessee where there is not of open minded people to relate to.

Greetings Gabe,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

Interesting, I was recently reminded of a thread regarding polyamorists in Tennessee ... Here it is: http://www.polyamory.com/forum/showthread.php?p=271098#post271098

Could be just a coincidence. Or a suggestion that sometimes we have more nearby friends than we realize! In any case, you have lots of potential friends on Polyamory.com and can read and post to connect. I am always around, I will be following the intro board so you can always ping me on this thread. Please be patient on those times when I'm away from home (and away from my computer).

It's good to have you with us.
Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the forum. How long has your triad been going on? I think people will be interested. A lot of people come here looking for advice about triads, but there aren't many active members actually in them. I'm sure people can learn as much from you as you can from them.

Thank you for your reply. I have been in this for a little over a year now. I really don't know what to say with just a year of experience I'm still new but I continue to try to hold it together. There are hills and valleys like any other relationship maybe more of them but it's all worth it.

Hello!

I am in TN too! Nice to meet a neighbor.

I'm new to poly, am married, and have a friend with benefits of sorts!

I'd be interested to hear how all the balance works too! I'll have to watch for posts from you to follow your saga. :)

Thank you "PseudoBiPolynewb", what a coincidence that our story's are so close. it be nice see how your dynamic works as well. Maybe we can glean wisdom from each other.
