Greetings Lovies,

I found this forum in my search to learn more about Polyamory. I have read a few posts in the last couple of days and I thought I would register.

I guess I am considered a poly-virgin, but my husband had a poly-esque relationship before we got together. Then, we went full on mono and parenting for the last three years. I didn't really have the time to think about what I wanted for quite a while with all our changes. We're good together but I feel like a part of me is somehow being denied/forgotten about in the process. I have an intense desire to make connection with others - whether it be friendship or something more. I just want to make meaningful connections.

Anyhow, after gathering my courage, I chatted with the hubby and it turns out the feeling was nearly mutual. Who knew?!

The question became what happens next?! So, here I am. Hoping to learn and befriend some folks as I/we take this journey.

I don't know what else to add for an introduction. Umm, here's something random - I'm learning how to program.

Hi Tabz - and welcome to the Forum! We do have a number of experienced poly folks here who are generally friendly and helpful with lots of sound advice and good information - so please do feel free to post any specific thoughts or questions that you may have to the Poly Relationship Corner or General Poly Discussion section - both sections are quite active, and you are sure to get some meaningful responses. Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

It sounds like poly is a rather new thing for you, your husband has had some experience in poly. Polyamory.com is a good place to find answers for any questions you might have, have a look around and see what calls to you, post any questions you might have. You will find that the members here are generally a friendly bunch.
