SEEKER2020 here.
Just realized I failed to introduce myself before starting a thread on the other section.
I'm a divorced male in my late-30s. I came to this forum mostly for support due to the recent break up of an important relationship after we gave Poly a try. You can read the story here http://www.polyamory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70806
I also came to this forum to find additional wisdom as I continue learning more about myself as a sexual being. As of now I wouldn't say that I am a fully fledged non-monogamist or Poly (or whatever the label might be), but I do have a staunch sense of curiosity about human behavior. Based on my experiences with divorce and unfulfilling periods of serial monogamy, I am at a place in my life in which I am seriously questioning and scrutinizing everything I "knew" about human sexuality and monogamy.
At times I feel that I might more "monogamish" than Poly- using Dan Savage's term. But I think there might be an overlap between the two, so I remain open to learning more about the subtle differences
Thanks to those of you who already provided support in the thread I linked above. That support has helped me tremendously as I grieve the loss of a relationship.
