Hello from Corn Country!

Hi, you can call me Rowan. My husband has been wanting an open marriage for awhile now and I've recently allowed it. While I've become more comfortable with him and this whole situation, I've stumbled into some areas of this that I would love to have advice on. I've read this forum as a guest and like what I've seen. This is a community I would feel comfortable talking to. Thank you for being that. If there is more you'd like to know, ask.

Hi and welcome!

Don't be shy about starting a new thread in the Poly Relationships Corner if you are looking for feedback on a personal issue, or the General Poly Discussions area if you want to understand some poly concepts or generally agreed-upon best practices. You can also start a blog thread in the Life stories and blogs forum where it can be a journal for you and debate/argument is not allowed.

There is also some good stuff in the Golden Nuggets section (I highly recommend the Online Poly Resources thread) and, of course, the Guidelines.

When you feel ready for some advice, ask away!

Hello Rowan,
Welcome to our forum. Glad to have you officially onboard, :)

Hopefully we can give you some of the help/advice you are seeking. There is a lot of comings and goings here so be patient with us, ;)

Good to meet you,
Sincerely,
Kevin T.

Thank you for the warm welcome! The best thing I need right now is the ability to speak openly. Both hubby and my family are very strictly religious, so discretion is the key. Also for me, while i do have some poly friends in ny life, i dont see eye to eye with their style of poly. So, mostly I'm looking for a more diverse view.

You'll find I'm not shy soon enough! ;)

Sounds good to me.
